very nice
Wouldn't this weigh more the the normal body?
Nicely made though

Density of good quality fibreglass is ~2100, Al Alloys are ~2700 - so 23% lighter in best case, but 6061-T6, for example, has 3x the stiffness.
Given stiffness of the sheet is related to the cube of the thickness, you'd need the GFP to be ~1.5 times thicker than any given Alu for the same
deflection.
With vast simplification.

I'd be interested in a custom bonnet in Aluminium, what would be the ball park figure for one with a bulge/scoop/induction scoop?
I've got no drawings but think I'm quite close to you to bring the car over (once working) and talk through some ideas

Nice job, looks good. Similar to the Tiger Alloy RS6 http://www.tigerracing.com/model/tiger-rs6/ but significantly cheaper by the looks of it.

What would 2 side panels and a rear panel cost for a Haynes roadster?
Ideally these panels need to be fitted to the individual chassis to get a nice quality fit.
Hi,
Just thinking out loud here;
If someone was to book your time in advance, would it be possible to bring a chassis / space-frame to you, for you to custom build these panels onto
?
Regards
Jon
(Yes, I asked the SVA question on your ebay advert).
So how much would that cost?
