One hell of an engine.

Their is a guy called john dodd not far from me in epsom who's father fitted one of those in a special he built some years back,not sure if its
still running but i have a couple of pics that i'll post up if i can get them scanned.
Also i'm popping down to the brooklands museum at weybrifge tuesday to have a look at there Hurricane project,they have just fitted the merlin
engine but are short of the headers 3 a side.
I'd tell the old boys to check out ebay but i'm not sure they know what a pc is yet.LOL

I believe this fits in a book chassis if you move one of the engine bay tubes by about....... what was it now............
About 6 feet, I think
It made an awsome sound,we caught the car while it was cooling off.
Popped in to see how the merlin was gettting on.

Its not much different to a locost at the front!!!!! Just has wings instead of a rear diff.

That's the car that the guy was in court over it having a rolls badge cos of the engine weasn't it? fro memory that one was originally a
tank engine IIRC..
