Looking at the 'Buy It Now' price for these, you can see why so many of us are going the bike throttle body/carb route
Is 'ee 'avin a larf or wot!

Remember that is for a full kit including cams etc. I bought a set of direct to head bodies with ecu etc second hand but never fitted for £1250 if that gives a more accurate idea of price?!

WIll admit didn't scroll down and see the cams etc but, I can't imagine they'd bolt on to an XE and work straight away without an aftermarket ECU? And I still say you could get a bike set and get a manifold and get a suitable ECU and STILL have change from what he is asking.

the kit includes an aftermarket ecu as well, it sounds reasonable to me. cams, verniers, throttle bodies, ecu, and prob all the bits to get it up and running.

will be a lot more responsive and fuel efficient compared to carbs and should release more low down power due to better low/mid range fuelling. may be a slight increase in power, but transforms the engine i'm told.

Ned.

ps did i also mention i've bought some 2mm oversize high compression forged pistons?
I'm hoping for around the 250bhp mark which is probably why my build is taking so long as i keep saving up for extra bits

That does not sound to bad a price to me?
But I will be sticking with my R1 carbs and megajolt ignition if I ever get them made and mounted?

Thats not too bad money when u consider what u get. Theres a f'ing site more that 1250's worth.. Especially with that ecu.

Can u imagine that lot in the nova he/she bought them for!!
