Didn't sell it on here earlier so have now bunged it on E-bay.

Grab yourself some extra power.

Would this be a bit too much for a 1.6?

I believe the one kent recommend is the FR21 for the 1.6 pinto.

When looking at a pinto engine is there any way of telling easily if it's a 2.0 or 1.6

Cheers

Would a FR33 suit my injection engine?, I have heard that an FR32 was more suitable - but to what downside?

look on the side of the block. a 1.6 will have 165, a 2.0 will have 205 embossed in the casting. afaik, the 1.8 has 185 strangely enough.

Thanks Tom, off to the scrappy I go, there was a sierra there that I took a couple of bits out of earlier but the engine was nearly complete and I thought if it was a 2.0 I would have the cam shaft out of that to stick in my 1.6

Thanks for your help.
