Halfords are apparently stopping their supply of spare parts due to the increase in the competition. They need the space in store for other
'things' and have slowly been selling off parts at very cheap prices! This is what I was told anyway...
I did hear about this awhile back but I thought I'd check it out as I'm reconditioning my Sierra bits now.
I popped into the local Bristol branch and was again utterly underwhelmed by the customer service BUT the front wheel bearing kit came to a whopping
£6.23 a side...
The rears are £17.99 a side oddly...
Chris.
6 23 a side? id better be off down there i have a halfords trade card too!!
there's no trade on clearance lines
i've got one too
it's only tripode bearings that are £18. lobro were a tenner last time i looked, so will probably be £6.23 now.
as for stopping parts supply, it's BS. we keep getting sierra stock in, i keep putting it to one side for when i need to buy it

Went into halfords today ans said they could order them form head office becuase they are obsolete! and would have to order them from andrew page for £25/side
Yeah HAL-FRAUDS or what!
I checked with the local branch where I work... Leam Spa = £26.99 a side! - but not carried, so had to be ordered in...
So then, I thought - hmm I'll try the P'boro one where I live... again not carried in stock - but a whopping £32.99 a side!
I mean WTF!!!
Buy all the ones you can from Bristol - I'll give you a £10 side ;-) LOL ;-)
