Where is the low cost aspect in that?
Or the low weight for that matter?

may not be low cost, or low weight, but with more than 16,000 lb's of thrust I would say it makes it a very powerful engine

Heck the R-R Avon engine in Thrust2 only put out between 10,000 and 15,000 lb's of thrust

Besides no one is actualy going to be stupid enough to put a jet engine in a road legal car (well unless you are Rover )

Actually, Volvo were working on it about 6 years ago - about 40 years after Rover started and finished with it.

You could always make a Batmobil with it.

I didn't know Volvo were planning a jet car, would have made one hell of a T5 model wouldn't it.
