Esp if you're in Leeds / Bradford area.
Northern Radiators do the 1.1 / 1.3 1983-1990 Polo radiators for £23.45 + VAT and delivery. Delivery is a
bit steep at £10, but I ordered mine yesterday after 4pm and it turned up before 10:30 this morning. Real bargain if you're based near them
though
No connection other than as a satisfied customer
What fan will you be using on that?
I need a 'blower'

their leeds branch appears to be next to my mates garage on dolly lane.
What is the ideal polo rad to get, I have a 2.0 pinto sohc.
Cheers, Andy
Andy,
You can either go for a Polo rad - or a Mk2 Escort Rad - redone to dual core...
I chose the latter - as the polo might not have the uumph to cool my Zetec. My mate also used a MK2 on his Pinto and he had to get a dual core to keep
his cool.

Have a look in zetecs photo archive,he runs a polo rad on his 2 litre zetec on throttle bodies pushing over 175 brake.
Hasnt mentioned any probs with overheating and the race boys seen to like them pushing a few more horses.
I have used a Polo rad on a fuel injected rover V8, 7 that I built a few years ago had no problems at all, with keeping it cool, fan only kicked in in traffic Jams or extremley hot days in busy slow town driving, but most of the time fan didnt even cut in.I think it a good rad for price and its cooling capabilities.
Polo just dandy up to 250bhp zetecs. The main reason is that you get a lot of air thru a 7 nose cone. Fan cuts in after 4-5 mins in traffic for 3-4 mins then on, and so on. No fan required while car moving.

My photo archive shows a polo rad with pinto installation if that helps.
