Don't know if it would be of any interest but I noticed that Trago here has some in stock now at £1.75. If anyone wanted some I could post some off. Numbers at 15p each.
Preumably for "show plates" or "off-road use" only as they don't comply with the rules?
Well obviously
I have sent you a U2U..
HI,I thought that PLOD was insisting that you cant sell these but they are not illegal if fitted.
In other words you can use these legally but you cannot buy them.
I bought a white stick on plate at Newark recently.
I think the thing is that the police are stopping car thieves making their own plates, has anyone else got more info on this?

You can make your own plates for your own vehicles but you are not allowed to sell made up plates to other people for road use unless you are registered (which will cost you £40) and comply with the gas bill and passport part of the process allegedly.
MMM! So if you can get the gear the law cannot do anything, sounds OK to me!
looks like my stick on plate is getting fitted onto my nosecone after all.
Its a pity that the usual hand held speed camera aim point will be at a useless angle.

There are still regulations covering the positioning of the plate and you will fall foul of them with stick on plates on top of the nosecone. Also there are regulations covering font, plate dimensions and letter spacing which you must comply with, sorry to p!ss on your chips but if you want to put them on top just do it and see what happens, you might only get a warning.
