I passed up a couple of these engines as I feared they would be a little bit too much poke for my standard seven chassis.

However, they would work really nicely in a cobra and sound great :-)

It is an enormous engine - I doubt it would fit in a seven chassis, there is very little space around it in a Rover 75. Nice motor though

And the 75 only comes with an auto box.

It is a big engine though I've just measured mine and compared it to my "normal" R V8 and dimensions are similar.

The RV8 is as wide but that's to the edge of ex manifolds whereas on Mustang motor, they're tucked under rocker covers. Similar length.
