Theres a guide in Julys "kit car" mag on how to fit/wire one up aswell!!

I have a push button start, would be really cool if I could do away with the ignition key for a 'proximity dongle' too - when's the guide for one of those coming ?

I bought one of these kits on Ebay. EXCELLENT kit - great value, everything you could conceivably need is included, even zip-ties for the wiring, all connectors, relay, etc. Instructions include how to wire it up so you can still use the ignition key! By the way, if you buy two, he'll throw in a third for no cost!

Push start is the best!!

Interesting that the kit mentioned includes a 40A relay to power the starter solenoid - does anyone know what a normal solenoid draws? Surely it's not that much

my ignition fuse was blowing 10amps but seems fine with a 20amp in there so between 10 and 20 amps on my 2ltr vauxhall Razman

Most bog-standard auto relays will handle 40A.
