I think these would have been less than ideal anyway, they look to me as if they're the type that are constructed as two pairs, which would have made any respacing operation much more difficult.

Yeah, you want the K1, K2 or K3 (2001, 2002, 2003) ones I believe. Unless you're happy to make an offset manifold up.
