Yeah it will be dodgy... tried buying a bike once, exactly the same scam. You had to email to be put on the approved bidders list. I was then offered the bike at an awesome price. Think it was something like 400 for a bike worth 1700. Then he wanted me to do the money transfer through "ebay transactions" which used western union.

Had a bit of fun with him cus he said he lived about 20 miles away from me so i said id pay more money if i could come and collect. Who'd disagree with that? well he did... he still wanted the money to be transfered through money western union.

Gotta be scam. My mates just bought a 53 plate one of them, for 16grand.
