Me stalker........ could be
Its probs half decent if Yorkshire rally spares are selling it. They'll probs have decent engine in stock for too (as well as the 2.1 it that was
originally intended for it).
Could just possibly be a pre-litigation westfield, I would want to see some verification on that before paying that much though.

good in a way, it was the close caterham/Lotus Series 3. Before Caterham took legal action and won, moulds then destroyed and design for subsequent Westies changed dramatically.
Looking at the welding on the chassis would definately say that part is NOT westy, nose cone and rear arches may be, front gaurds are not. Looks like a bit of a mongrel to me. Honest opinion too expensive. Just my feeling, so don't shoot the messenger. Ray

what does that mean? is it a good thing or bad thing?
looks like a standard Locost to me
Dax rear arches.
Phil
If that is a westy it's a damn early one. Or, as is more likely, it's a Locost. Can't see why you'd bucther the back end passenger bay to put those plates in if it was genuine.
Yorkshire Rally Spares are literally around the corner from me!
I was speaking to Pete (the seller) about this car a few weeks ago and he said that the original owner had unfortunately died, so Pete didn't
know a great deal about it and I think he makes this fact pretty clear...
He's a genuinely honest bloke and I don't think it's overpriced when you consider that the panelling isn't bad and all it needs
are wheels to make it a rolling chassis! Realistically, it doesn't need many bits to finish it!
