Looked at this early in the auction but now at 1800 quid it's a bit rich.

Not even a runner http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=250168846394&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=015

You can buy a good runner for just over 3k

if memory serves me well, there is turbo 'busa on at the mo' for £ 3k.

'A rod through the engine' would suggest a very hard life. Why not fix it and sell it as a runner? If he only did it last week its a bit quick to get shot of it.

The engine is lunched - probably very little benifit in buying it to be honest, by the time you have fixed it up...

Turbo Busa

Who in their right mind pays over two thirds the value of something, with all you BEC fanatics out there Busa engine prices are strong, could cost him nearer 4 grand to get it on the road, unless he has a wreck or similar rebuild....

I sold my immaculate 'busa with 21000 miles and full history for £3100. Whoever bought that must have a cheap supply of engines, or a good bottom end lying around.

That turbo lump has been on before.
