I bought this ages ago as a complete bike intending to restore it, but with time in ever shorter supply it's not going to happen.
If anyone's interested I'll happily pass it on to a Locoster for not much money...

There's an unmolested one upstairs here, the only thing missing is the gear indicator panel. The VW camper boys like them, best of luck with the
sale.

Hey ho - it's gone now!
Fortunately to a genuine enthusiast who will make good use of the bits.
The one in the ebay listing pat put up and the one you had look like they had the fixed handle bar possition, these were 2nd generation choppers and
the fixed handlebar was made like this to stop wheelies as some bad accidents happend on the early ones.
On the originals you could pull the handle bars back and i've been told these are the ones to look out for, far less about more £'s.

Speaking of BMX's, this thread has depressed me as I am reminded of my 1982 Gen1 Haro Freestyler frame and forks I had to sell last year
When I have enough money to buy it back I will track it down.....although I doubt it will be for sale....who's going to be stupid enough to sell
one of them....??!
"Haro Freestyle" - now there's a name I haven't heard for a few years
nick....... you had exactly the same bikes as me in the same order. tell me, was ya burner blue with yellow wheels, i went on from that to diamond back bmx and started racing them for a few years, wow, the memorys lol....................
