If you can't change it, cancel it and re-list. It might be cheaper than leting them go for a song!

i thought you could change the title by editing the listing but maybe not

how come youre selling them??

change of engine or bike carbs??

^^
What he said.

Once a bid is placed your buggered.

Ebay might let you add a second title.

If not, as above cancell the bid & edit the listing.

As above - just have to bite the bullet and cancel the listing and put them back on. At least you only lose the listing fee and am sure you will get more back for them by listing properly (or offering them directly on here first maybe??).

Put bike carbs and then sold car

Bike carbs were good but i think these had a bit more power

You cant seem to change title once its been bid on

Dont realy want to end as some one has bid

Just have to try and get the word out that they are on there

Confused but excited. - 3/3/08 at 07:44 PM

What? £1.04.
You don't want a lot for them then?

owelly - 3/3/08 at 07:58 PM

Send a message to the guy who has bid and explain that you are relisting and explain why.

bonzoronnie - 3/3/08 at 08:06 PM

If my memory serves me right.

You do not need to end the listing to cancell bids. In fact you cant end a listing without cancelling the existing bids first.

Just cancel any existing bids, you should then be able to edit the listing.

But once you have cancelled bids, the bidders are barred from any further bids on that item.

Been there before, just cancel your listing and give the reason as title wrong.

Re list and advise the bidder by ebay mail, also set a reserve this time.
