have a look at this link. tell me your thoughts please.
EBAY AGAIN!!!
thanks rob
Well when it doesnt.............. i mean if it doesnt, he's about 200 yards from my girlfriend's house on the Wirral so I can go duff him up for you!!
paul thanks for the offer, just stummbled across it looking for bits for the car. wonder if it a load of monkey poo?
rob
Feedback seems to suggest it works but im also a bit sceptical. It doesnt seem to say anywhere in the listing how it works. Well not that i could understand.
Usual bollocks. Yes, the cell will produce Hydrogen, but it will use more electrical energy to do so than you will get back by burning the resulting
gas. Result - worse (very very slight, as the unit is so low power) fuel economy.
It's a fundamental law of Thermodynamics, stated simply - "you can't get owt for nowt".

Definately looks like a big steaming pile of monkey poo to me!!! 10mpg increase from the tiny amount of hydrogen produced by a cell of that size (if any!!)?? Anyway, it doesnt come supplied with the water so is a total con as its not a complete kit!!
The extra load that puts on your alternator will offset the hydrogen generated - otherwise all power stations would just use them to make free power!
IF the electrodes or vessel get too hot then with one part oxygen and two parts hydrogen you get a nice explosion. It took me weeks to remove all the
shards of glass from the walls and ceiling in the class room.

What a load of shit!!!!
"the water level never needs changing"
So where does the uber powerful hydrogen that's supposed to make all this amazing power come from.
Big steam pants.... And the law of thermodynamics says no-way....

"Construction of this project is at the persons own risk, No liability or responsibility will be taken for any damage or injury caused
through the construction and use of this system,"
HA! got themselves well covered!! Idgits!
STAN MEYER produced the first water powered car in the 70's which violated the first law of thermodynamics and worked. He's now dead. Wonder who killed him or who ordered it.
for the love of god stop demonstrating your ignorance. Conspiracy theories are for fools, and i feel foolish reading them.
And this idea is still as much nonsense as it was when it was last discussed, last month.
this is totally bollocks...
if it doesn't use water then it hasn't produced any hydrogen...
its that easy....
This was tried in some form on mythbusters
love the comment
" What a load of shit!!!! "
I'd tend to agree
Just Google water for fuel or water for gas or hho there is lots and lots about this it dose work to a degree
sorry jacko, it does not work to a degree at all. Supply links to proof?
and i dont mean the obvious placebo effect where someone fits it and sees improved mpg; they obviously would drive more carefully when measuring if
expecting an improvement.

Question:
quote:
HELLO,I RUN 3 TRANSITS 2 RECOVERY 1 TIPPER AND MUST BE 100% RELIABLE AT ALL TIMES IS THE INSTALLATION EASY ON TRANSITS
quote:
Hi Rob, Fitting is easy on any vehicle i have two transits
ye try it. sorry if it has been discussed before, i just came across it on ebay and was shocked by it thats all. some people will try anything to make
a few bucks.
rob
oh P.S im not the guy with 3 transits!
A man on the Wirral is offering to sell you a few bits of plastic pipe, a piece of paper with writing on and a jam jar for £104, with a very tempting discount if you buy more than one and you're even considering it.........
no silly was not considering it! was looking for bits for my car and this popped up and was shocked by him selling something like it, hence the title saying WTF!!!
If you want to run an engine on water get a diesel and up the compression ratio to shall we say 2000:1 put water in the tank and try to start it. If your battery wont nvm just push start it. Your big-end might not last long but just think how much money you save until it blows up. If it doesn't work at all it's done you're carbon footprint a lot of good and at least I've not charged u anything for the idea.

Better idea the locost way
Get some silicone tube from your local Model shop.
Connect one end to your Carb and other end to your butt.
Just fart for instant power.
I wouldn't fancy hydrogen and oxygen been produced under the bonnet of my car, although I imagine it doesn't produce a lot.
actually it does produce a fair bit...about 1.2 cubic metres of hydrogen gas and about 0.6 cubic metres of oxygen (at 50 degress C and atmospheric
pressure).
I've seen this done as an experiment and there are lots of problems..firstly its slow - and i mean painfully slow, so much so that an electrolyte
must be used in order to speed it up. Secondly the more electrolysis that occurs, the more ions are produced at each side, OH- at the cathode and H+
at the anode. Due to the charge on these, they will repel the flow of electrons from the electricity and cause it to slow down even further until the
ions can diffuse - which takes a while..
In theory its a good idea, in practice its far from it

well it was done on mythbusters using propane and a wheel and light energy (albeit studio lighting because the sun wasnt out)...it was just they had to use time lapse photography to actually show it moving...

heres a sample of mythbuster experiments:
quote:
Free Energy
Adam and Jamie tested various free energy myths, which is their "biggest file" they have for mythbusting. There is no end to different ideas for free energy, but they settled on a couple that they were able to downloaded specs for off the net.
G-strain amplifier (actually a ring oscillator) that sucks power from the curvature of space. They ran two motors simulatenously, one with the device, one without: the free energy motor went first.
Temperature wheel: wheel of tanks joined together by spokes set in a pool of water. Half of the tanks filled with propane, which settles to the water side of the wheel. The sun heats water, which heats propane and causes it to shift to other side of wheel, which induces rotation. The wheel worked, though the best designs only manage one rotation per minute. The device is a basic solar energy harvester.
Radio wave power harnesser: a 100' antenna that captures radio waves to induce current. The device generated a whopping half a volt.
Perpetual motion machine: blah
yes thanks joel *embarrassed face* i apologise it was free energy rather than perpetual motion, and yes, with current knowledge the perpetual motion
machine is impossible.
However this device is not about perpetual motion but rather an enhancement to the efficiency of the engine - not that it does that anyway.
A quick thought though - what if instead of being connected to the alternator it was connected to an additional fan on the front of the car - could
the hydrogen produced offset the additional drag a fan would provide, or is that total bollox?
