How does a Caterham get a Q plate, and also, how do you get the front wheel that far off the road.

Tim, there are cheaper ways of getting a trike, but none that are as much fun.

Roadrunner, it is on a Q because it was built from a kit of parts by a bloke in a garage, rather than a factory build. At the time, getting an age related plate wasn't an option.

As far as tips for getting a front wheel that high off the ground, put a short but very heavy weight in the car directly opposite that corner, say directly in front of the offside rear wheel, where the driver normally sits Combine that with an almost unbelievable cornering speed, some very sticky tyres and a front ARB that is set up a bit toooooo hard and you get a trike!
