Something definately dodgy going on there... he's cancelled numerous bids the highest was £35,000 and now its back to £888...

clairetoo - 11/8/08 at 07:54 PM

Looks like a dodgy scammer to me - he's maybe collecting ebay user ID's of rich bidder's (you wouldnt bid £35000 if you couldnt pay for it.....) ?

eznfrank - 11/8/08 at 08:25 PM

He's cancelling bids left right and centre, looks like Ebay are on to him though.

chris_smith - 11/8/08 at 08:43 PM

went for 45k wonder if it was legit

r1_pete - 11/8/08 at 08:59 PM

BenB - 12/8/08 at 10:46 AM

Yup. Seems very strange to have a £8800 BIN but sell it for £45k!!!!!
all very odd if you ask me...

David Jenkins - 12/8/08 at 11:14 AM

Interesting to see that a car from Bournmouth is being sold by someone who writes numbers in the European way, i.e. 8.800,00 rather than 8,800.00

Very dodgy...

There was a new shape m3 on there a couple of days ago too, same style of advert and same answers to all the questions from the muppets thinking they were going to get 50ks worth of motor for 10k... Unbelievably dodgy...

What kind of scam could it be tho...?
