ive got a 120 amp version of that,it may well struggle to weld any heavy steel and for the thinner stuff you really need a mig,borrow mine anytime Bob

I have a similar one, but with a bit more grunt u could weld a chassis quite easily with it, and does a lovely job with stainless pipes for exhausts etc. we were so impressed with the finish we threw away the mig and bought the big brother, ac/dc and lots of poke A wee bottle of argon and some filler rods and away u go

You would be much better of with one of the little rehmann units on ebay.

Same money but is twice the power. Another £50 will get you a better model with the tig kit inclueded in.

Mine is really nice to arc weld with.
