Anyone got or have any experience of one of theseHD Camera?
Is it good value for money to use on my roll bar for track days etc?

5mp isn't HD is it?

5mp is more than HD, however that unit only does video at 1280*720 (half way between Full HD and normal telly). Should still produce really nice
videos as long as the CCD is up to standard though.
1280*720 is just under 1 Megapixel, Full HD is 2 Megapixels.
optical zoom is also a good thing I purchased a camcorder from Maplins which came with a bullet cam for £119 digital zoom on the recorder which aint
the best and just fixed to infinity when using the bullet cam ( better picture from the bullet cam.
Advantages of the above are also home usage, then u need to weigh up the cost of a strong bracket I used an ols Hi 8 on the roll bar with a mounting
due to is size there was a lot of vibration the Aldi one looks quite small so may not vibrate.
