Hope everyone has booked there place by now. I am off on my Holidays Thursday 10th and won’t be back till Friday 18th . If you need to contact me I will reply to your e-mail on the Friday morning.
Lee has agreed to bring his Gas BBQ so we can have a get together Fri / Sat Night.
Hope Billy gets his new engine fitted in time or we will see him at the rear of the pack in the tin top. (Fancy not putting oil in the engine).
Hope Mark fits the Camper on the site. Do you think he will tell the owner that he has a car hidden inside, will he need to pay twice.
It will be great to see everyone , hopefully we can make this a annual event.

Come rain or Sunshine see you there. Over and out,

Yep, it's an estate. Will take several jerry cans, a jack, a tool kit and a big hammer

Oh, and a fridge (VW kindly thought to put 12V sockets in the boot)...

Is the plan to run over to marc's saturday Morning ? if so I will meet you there ( what time ? ).

But I do have to warn you about a few things.

1) there is now a coffee machine on auto vend ( nobody tell Chris )
2) the workshop was undergoing a spring clean when I left Yesterday
3) the MNR grass track car may be turning up after an on track incident ( not for the faint haearted )

And Finally ( please ensure you are seated )

4) Marc had had his yearly haircut rumours that there is a skip full of hair wanting a home in Harrogate are at the moment unfounded.

Regards

Agriv8

EEK

is Marc getting a new jumper knitted with it??

Steve & I will be up Friday 5-6 ish.
I thought open day at MNR was Sunday
but we'll be there whenever.

vinny1275 - 17/7/08 at 01:10 PM

I thought the open day was Sunday as well. Have they moved yet, or still in the old place?

Looking at the weather, it's going to be wet on Saturday. For those camping who haven't camped before or in a long time, a word of advice:

Don't pitch at the bottom of a slope! Metcheck reckons we could be in for a couple of inches on Saturday (oo-errr missus), so try and pitch on a slight slope, the tent arranged so your feet are at the bottom. not sure what the campsite's like, so hopefully it won't be like the north face of the eiger

we'll be getting to oop north early afternoon time, will do a bit of sightseeing, not sure whether we'll pitch first, or in the early evening...

cy'all tomorrow!

How many people are going to risk it in the kit cars regardless of weather

Martin

amalyos - 18/7/08 at 08:12 AM

Tintops all packed, cars on the trailer, I'm ready to roll about 1pm.
Should be at the camp site around 6pm.

It's a long way from Essex, so I hope George and I won't be the only ones on the site.

Is everyone else still planning to go?

Steve

Robert Ryan - 18/7/08 at 08:44 AM

Just got back today, Yep still going in the kit. We will work the weekend around the weather.
Just confirmed with Chris / Mark the visit to MNR is still on.
Leave the camp site 11am Sunday.

Bill / trev / and me are setting off around 1.30.

See you all there.
