Bosch Fuel Pump
darrens - 13/4/10 at 02:02 PM

I have a Bosch fuel pump (0580 464 029) which has given up the ghost.

This I need to replace, however I can't find the same one (nor can I determine it's actual flowrate)

If I change this for a different model will this require re-mapping the tables in MS or will the fuel rail regulator accommodate this.

Any help appreciated.

Regards

No remapping required as long as the pressure is the same

All bosch pumps are the same external dims, although pipe connections may be different.

As said no re-mapping is necessary. The max flow rate of your new pump will need to meet the fuel requirements of your engine. Best options is to go for a fuel pump from a N/A EFi car with a similar amount of BHP...

sounds like you need the Fuel pump for a 3.9 TVR unsure of the numbers but reasnobally sure they were inline bosch.

I got this off a car in the breakers, was a v8 but can't for the life of me remember what car it was.

Could do with finding out the flowrate of the broken one
