That made my sides ache I'm trying to think of an application for it now like when the President throws the switch in the Whitehouse thinking he's going to end civilisation as we know it the hand pops out and switches it back off again.

For a machine it seems to have tremendous amount of character. It seemed really pissed off but still defiant at the end

That is really good - The movement is very fluid

If you left it on your desk how long before someone switched the switch.

I work in IT and recon it would not last an hour ( even less if put a message DO NOT TOUCH )

It does tell you right at the end of the film where he got the idea and how to make it.

The link to the idea is just another video of asimilar contraption in a small perspex box - I think I prefer the wooden copy....

Any ideas of a wiring diagram, as it would be a laugh to put one together.... we could have a locostbuilders 'most useless machine' competition!
