Well I have - very similar but with one important difference

Sitting outside a local working mans club waiting for a fare to come out one night, I spotted a very tastefully dressed lady exiting one night, dressed in a very nice looking tan coloured knee length dress (the skirt length was to just above the knees) suit with upper calf length boots of a similar colour to the clothes. She looked very smart and elegant and the whole effect really set well with her long blond hair slim well proportioned figure, until I noticed the 4 inch heels on her boots, one was a stiletto and the other was a club heel. DOH.

You seem to know a lot about heel types chap!!

belgian2b - 30/11/12 at 10:27 PM

Once, i bought two left shoes for the football.

I only noticed when i wanted to wear them a few minutes before the sunday match.

Lol, i did that once, didn't notice till I got to the office, worse thing was had to do a customer visit as well, quick stop at a shoe shop on the way

When I was at college (many years ago) my lecturer was wearing one shoe and one sandal, with socks. At the end of the lecture he asked if there were any questions? "yes why are you wearing one shoe and one sandal? "I have a sore toe on the foot with the sandal" was his reply. "would it not have been better to wear two sandals? Then you wouldn't have looked like such a tw-t." I asked and he replied "Good point I will remember that next time." One of those really clever blokes who seemed not to have a lot of common sense which made him look a little eccentric, but a very nice bloke.

They are roughly the same colour. What is the problem, then?

There are shoes there?

I can't see anything past the blinding carpet!

" I asked and he replied "Good point I will remember that next time."

did he not also add -

" and I will remember your remark when I do the end of term assessments " ?

Pub carpet - they are all like that round here

Peteff - 1/12/12 at 09:59 AM

Both black(ish) and left and right so no problem. Tell them it's for charity and you give 50p every time someone notices

David Jenkins - 1/12/12 at 03:56 PM

You know you're really in trouble when you've got a carpet slipper on one foot - you know, one of those 'easy on' types with velcro fastenings.

On second thoughts - you're really in trouble if you're wearing a PAIR of those slippers!
