The "needs brackets welding between chasis and diff due to bad vibration" is a little peturbing.
The number plate seems starngely familiar too.

not really, the original chassis had a very daft (lame) support for the diff that even when they sold me my chassis were known to be fracturing and
believe it or not they told me I'd probably be best to weld some flanges over that bit cos their snapping…Eh?!?, yeah this was me picking up my
newly welded chassis and their telling me its not finished properly...errrr
Anyway the plates he refers to though are easy to put on, only requiring the diff and shafts to be removed, plus the original garbage mounts…

That must have been a good while ago then. My 2003 Indy chasis has fairly substantial diff mounting plates fully welded to the rear chasis tubes.
