My understanding is that it's somewhat difficult to register kit cars on the continent, so I would expect a marginally over the odds price tag... but £20k? I think someone's living in a dream world....

Especially when you can get this for a bit more, and don't have to drive it back from Italy:-

I would buy it for £2000. No more than that.

Imagine, that Caterhams are sold for 17K brand new.

£20k for a second hand RH is a joke or a really stupid optimistic dealer.

It does make me wonder how realistically priced all the other cars that I did fancy on there are!

Maybe that 1966 Elan was also priced at 10 times its real value :-)

Thats italy for you being italian myself and my dad living over there, i was looking to see what the price difference was from there and the uk, and found that they are a complete rip off i found one builder that charges 28k euros which is about £25k for a Tiger avon on the road http://vicenza.olx.it/vendesi-caterham-caterham-tiger-avon-iid-26611980 when tiger them self only charge £11,595 IVA`d registered and taxed! They charge doubble boubble in italy!
so the robin is only worth £10k

Seems to have been dropped to £16k now.

This is another one that looks to have got a lot more than it's worth.

So it's a spitfire chassis with a £2k bodyshell.
