I'm guessing it's a previously registered car that's been stripped down.
I had a Caterham that I stripped down and when I sold the bare chassis, the V5 went with it!
Now't wrong with that!

I've often found that the word 'locost' has entered common parlance amongst some kit-car builders to describe almost any budget
kit.
Of course if it is indeed a 'book' chassis and not a Dutton, then it is wrong... I can't tell from the photo's though...

Does that mean that if "someone" were to buy that Chassis & V5 that they could rebuild (replace) it and it would be road legal without
IVA??

Not totaly sure but I think yes if it's a dutton replacement chassis (i.e. the same).

T'is indeed fishy then! That'll teach me to slip back into the way of giving people the benefit-of-the-doubt again then!
How did you tie the pics together? I can't see anything in his eBay 'history' that suggests him winning that chassis for £50-odd
quid.

I couldn't find anything in his eBay history either (apart from a ZX9R Kit Car in Oct 09) but if you print the 2 pictures the chassis's
are identical including the damage and the masking tape on the chassis piece under the rad mount!! Bit of a coincidence I'd say.

This is the bit that makes it very fishy, how all of a sudden has it got a V5.Scam, scam, and scam. Cheers Ray

This sale is for my old Tiger Avon factory built chassis, please note it is damaged and will need repairing. It is the chassis only with no
Registration document, no other parts included.

My vote is to shop him.
If it is the same chassis as he bought, that one said that it was one being sold WITHOUT registration document.
If you build a car up from that, it should have to go through the same test as all other amateur - built cars - otherwise we are returning to the dark
ages.
(In my 'umble opinion.)
