Dulux Paint Pod Compact - £1.38

As of today (Friday) B&Q are doing a promotion where you get the paintpod compact for free with the purchase of ANY dulux product.

Dulux PaintPod Compact Homepage

So pick yourself up a £1.38 dulux tester pot and get the paintpod compact (normally £29.97) for free!

Get it even cheaper if they have any dulux tester pots in the bargain bin for the likes of 50p etc!

It's even got 6AA duracells included

You will probably have to bite the bullet and buy a proper paintpod tub of paint (on offer at £19.95 for 5ltrs) but you can then wash it out when used and refill it yourself with whatever takes your fancy (within reason! - some say thinned down, some say normal consistency!)

Normal is getting dressed in clothes that you buy for work and driving through traffic in a
car that you are still paying for - in order to get to the job you need to pay for the clothes
and the car, and the house you leave vacant all day so you can afford to live in it.

I hit return instead of delete when I was making the post, all I had entered was the subject. Damn you small laptop keyboards!

Got one! Bargain. The old dears in front of me at the till had the same.. the girl on the check out was laughing her head off!

They had a large stock of the things with peeps looking, going, free? must be a catch.

Well apart from the paint costing a fortune at least that's £30 saved.

Now off to Tesco with me two £5 vouchers out of todays Sun.

I think there is a catch, are they actually any good? I really don't find it that hard to use a tray for the roller.. At £1 might be worth a try..

I used the previous one a few years ago for some reason (didn't have to pay for either the paint or the machine) and I thought it was actually pretty good, saved that constant putting the roller down into the tray for more paint.

The basic idea makes a lot of sense, how well it works in practice is the issue. Also depends on how big an area you need to do, the bigger the area the better an idea it is.

Looks a good way to get you to use more paint and thus boost Dulux's profits to me! (Not that I've used one mind)!
