He would probably do better if there were a few more pictures in the ad
"That thing you're thinking - it wont be that."

I have seen this in the flesh, the pictures do not do it justice at all.
However they could help with someone getting an absolute bargain.

According to the sales pitch it's the drivetrain for sale which usually doesn't include the body/chassis. The advert is very confusing and
ambiguous, can he edit it to clarify what is in the sale?

yours, Pete
I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

I've just pointed out the probs, and I think things are now cleared up.
The clue was in 'with body attached'.
He wants shot of the lot, but seems noone wants it as a body, or half built kit, so sell it as parts value as is.
Cheers,
Nev.

Add still doesn't make a lot of sence.
"You're bidding on the drive train" but "it won't be split"?!? So is the rest free?... or does he keep ownership
of the rest so you own part of it?

You get the lot ie everything except the lights.
take the whole car, the advert is written in such a way as to appeal to people wanting the drivetrain. The body is free.
Get bidding!!

The only things putting me off at the mo are,
a) I'm tight for space.
b) how far it is.
c) spending cash i need for my Haynes.
I'm seeing if i can,
a) ask 1 of my mate's, if i can put it in his barn.
b) get a mate of mine to pick it up on a returnload in his lorry.
c) can i bring myself to pospone my Haynes any longer.
Decisions, decisions...
