It's actually a RWD Toyota Corolla if memory serves.
It was as rotten as a pear when they started with it.

Those strut tops look distinctly 70's Ford to me. Capri is a good suggestion.

The roof and rear window don't look Capri though. It looks like a hatchback and the Capri was saloon coupe

to be honest i thought it was a capri too, where that website got a peugeot 207 from, i have no idea, but take a look at this link,
