Zeemerides are....
Mini dampers with added on sleeves and collars to take 2.25" springs.
They were a product of the fertile mind of Tricky Dicky Stewart of Robin Hood.
This is the same bloke that gave us the Robin Hood 2B and the truly stunnign Exmo.
And who could forget the Triumph based seven as well.
They're not known for being wonderful.

A rubbish alternative to more or less any shock absorber that you can think of

It might be one of 'us' that's flogging them.
Hope you do well with them in that case !

Why on earth would you give a coil over damper a name that reminds you of a Zimmer frame?

shocks
If your on a budget it beats paying £350 for a set of gucci shocks.
I used the money I saved to buy a 1300E escort donor with 44k miles on the clock stripped the bits I needed and sold the rest for £350. So you pay
your money and take your choice.

They're not shiny (and expensive) enough I had some fitted to my car for 8 years and no problems with them.

yours, Pete
I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.
