Senna DVD cheap at Homebase

Saw the Senna documentary at Homebase for £9.99

Not looked elsewhere but it £16.99 at Amazon.

Hope that's of interest,
James

I have to agree.
Never been a fan of his and how he got away with his antics was not very sporting.
If he were racing now he'd be in the Stewards office more often than Lewis.

Beg to differ. He was not a politician he was a simple bloke who had to learn to swim with sharks. He was incredibly quick in a car and brave beyond words. He probably had a chip on his shoulder as a defence against said sharks but he was a real hero in Brazil and did a lot for his country.

Top man as far as I'm concerned but each to there own.

Watch the film and then decide.

Although it seems that some of you have such a bizarre view of motor racing history that even that probably won't change your opinion.

Having been there when Senna arrived in the UK driving FF2000 I have my own opinion.

Watch the film and you will see some of what those who were lucky enough to have been around the man at the time saw.

I was never really a fan when he was always winning!, as i was a big Mansell fan. but looking back he was special behind the wheel, and his last win at donington was amazing,
i think thats why i'm a Lewis fan now, i love a racer
i saw the film at the cinema, and away from racing he came across as a cool bloke really.
worth watching for the behind the scenes stuff and the drivers briefing

I was in a 711 shop in H.Kong when I read he was dead in a newspaper there. Bit shocked at first then I decided it couldn't have happened to a more deserving chap. Hope Lewis doesn't take his Senna worship too far. I bet the movie doesn't show that his so called girlfriends were paid by Maclaren to hide the fact that he was gay either.

I watched it last night and it brought back lots of memories, confirming what I already knew - he was a GENIUS!!
Sounded to me that he was very close to not racing on the day he died, due to the previous days fatality of Ratzenburger. Everything told him not to go out, but been the racer he was he did it anyway. I guess we were destined to lose the greatest driver of all time that day
Love or hate him I'd recomend anyone who's ever had an interest in F1 to watch it. Makes todays 'racers' look like a reet bunch of softies!!
