Shame its not the CBR1000RR engine at that price!

How down on power is this one in comparison?

Can supply a head and cams for not much more if it's a custom install and that should bring it back up to the 175 hp mark. The part numbers are the same for pistons etc

stolen/recovered always worries me,the key question to me would be " how thrashed was it when it was in stolen mode "

Its about 40bhp at the wheel down(I've ridden both bikes). The 1000R feel a lot lot softer and not that quick(in 1000cc bike terms).

As above its got the wrong head/cams/ecu/ignition and a few other bottom end bits.
