MIG Welder

Clearance, gasless but can be converted for about another £35 -

Linky...

At this price might be tempted (although hear that SIPs can have some problems with wire feed)!

Ive got one of those (or very similar), and after welding the mini (LOads) my book chassis and what i have done since, its had a new liner, gas conversion, tips and shroud and have only just got the hand of it. Good welder once you get used to it, but very temperamental and there must be easier ones out there. Mine cost me £100 about 6 years ago, so was a steal then. Its earned its money, but its not been a smooth ride.

Kindest Regards,
Richard.

Likewise, I used a SIP105 for two builds, it still works, but the wire feed was always erratic!

If you google "sip wire feed modification" then there are ways and means of making them better, but getting one that comes from the factory working properly is a better plan IMO.

It already has a metal liner so that's a step forward at least.
