Cheap tools at Halfords

I'm presuming that its a nationwide offer, but I went into my local Halfords today to find they have some special offers on tools.

I bought a set of 9 Halfords Advanced flexi head ratchet spanners for £39.99. Usual price £59.99, and a set of Halfords advanced screwdrivers for £9.99, usual price £19.99

I've been pondering on getting some of those type of spanners for a while, but this helped to make up my mind

I have a set of those spanners and mine came with a couple of adapters so that you can fit screwdriver bits into the 10mm spanner and one to fit sockets onto the 13 mm spanner.
I do not know how I ever managed without them before, one of my best ever purchases.
You will not be disappointed with your purchase. A quality set and very versatile. I would recommend them to anyone especially at that price, which was what persuaded me to buy them.

I've got a set of those ratchet spanners as well, and they are ace. The screwdriver bit adaptor will take a tap as well- incredibly useful for cleaning threads in inaccessible places

I bought the fixed head ones but wished I'd bought the floppy-headed ones. There are a lot of places where you need to crank the head a little to keep your knuckled intact. Still good quality gear IMHO.

Not always that price, but quite often on special offer as most of there socket sets are so don't pay full price for a set you like if you can afford to wait as they may well be cheaper in a month or so.
