At least the axle would fit a book Locost even the wheel PCD is 4.25" the same as Ford.
In contrast about 5 years back there was an Avenger on ebay with 50 miles on the clock.

It actually doesn't look in too bad a shape considering. An Escort left in similar conditions would have dissolved.

And at the opposite end of the spectrum, there is now a 44 year old Hillman Avenger on eBay with 32 miles on the clock and is absolutely as new (apart
from the tyres!)
