ARA RACING

I am building my first locost and have been comparing prices on sites and ebay etc, and this company (www.ara-racing.com) seemed to be quite cheap and as I said in the sale section I purchased the wishones and i am very happy with them!!!

I hope to buy some other bits from here!!
They sell Shocks made by Gaz, are these a good make?? as I am new too this game and have taken it on as a new hobby so you will have to excuse the lack of knowledge!!!
Cant wait to get me car finished, My friend has one and i thought well if he can build one and show off in the summer then so can I!!!
If anyone can let me know about the shocks i would be greatful thanks

GAZ are a pretty popular name on the se7en scene but I've no personal experience. Not heard anything bad, which is a good thing!

I'm using GAZ shocks on my locost, purchased from MK about two years ago. So far I can't fault them.. 35 or so point adjustable across a good range. No doubt someone else will disagree spouting on about unsprung weight and the fact they're steel as is always the way on LB but I'm very happy with them...

Might be worth sounding out opinions on the alloy protech shocks now sold by MK as another option. I also know someone runnign spax although can't comment on them.

Cheers
