It should be. AFAIK all mk1 mr2's had 4age lumps.
It's a looong way from Yorkshire though !

I can confirm that the engine in the picture is a 4AGE (99% sure, anyway). I have two in my garage and they are identical to the engine shown, IMO.
I think that it is the TVIS version, which is not so practical for a Locost as you generally have to modify the inlet plenum (unless you have a high
bonnet line). The TVIS manifold is not easily modified, in my experience, and a non TVIS will be needed along with a mating flange to join the two.
Not a major problem, just something to be aware off.

Cheers guys, I just thought it was cheap! I'm not after one for the Avon, but I'm interested in buying an MR2 and wondered what sort of
money a 4age went for.
Whats the going rate for a 4age then?

Tis deffo a 4age,
an for that price you cant go wrong... youd be looking at doing a full rebuild tho, it might run straight away but prob not for very long. you also
dont know how long its been lying outside for....
