>MINT CONDITION FOR A CLASSIC

HAHAHA!!

Ok, seriously. Mint is mint, no matter what vintage the car is. 100,000Km and scratches on the body (see the pics) is NOT mint.

Granted, it is a fine example, and would make a perfect car for my build... I would hesitate to call this mint.

And almost 6 grand in Sterling isn't worth a car that's that old. I could buy a 2002 VW GTI for that price, with less than half the mileage, and all the bits would be much newer.

Too bad this Corolla is EXACTLY the car I am looking for.

Boooooooo.

That link takes me to microsoft !

There were two rusting in peace in a garden near me two months ago, I've not been down there lately so I don't know if they're still there.

yours, Pete

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

Several 4x4 corolla's on ebay at moment. What gearbox do they use, is it any good for a transverse 4age?

Always 1.8s that survive these days 1.3 Marinas are now pretty rare compared to 1.8/1.7 versions as the Midget and Minor mobs buy 1.3s for the engine and box.

Anything (well almost) made by BL/Rover is now bound to be a sought after classic --- but just try selling anything with a Rover badge over the next decade.
