It says they are for the MT75 but they dont't have a removable bell housing. Also the zetec will fit this box as standard as well as a type 9.

I think the MCT75/MT75 is a custom gearbox based on the MT75. This is also manufacturered by Michell Cotts. Westfield sell something like this on their parts store web site.

£50 bell housing (ebay price - £ 302.27 at Westfield)
£ 1214.01 Mitchell Cotts 5 Speed gearbox

Yikes ....even using the ebay bellhousing you could buy around 40 second hand type 9 boxes for that sort of money. I think I'll stick to the theory that if I break my current gearbox (and any future ones), £30 and an afternoons work puts it right again.

those bellhousings are actually front half casings as the box splits 1/2 way down.

Can't see the point though, it't the V6 ones that folks need!!

The dohc type MT75 fits the Zetec anyway. The trickier one is getting an XR4x4 front 1/2 casing and putting it on an ex-dohc MT75 to get an MT75 RWD V6 fitting box, as fitted to the very rare granada/scorpio manuals.
