never got the appeal of twin engined cars. Zcars recently did an ultima GTR with twin Hayabusa engines and 4WD. 500BHP each.
Didnt see the point, may as well stick a nice big V8 in there like it was designed for. you can get them up to 1000BHP and probaly cheaper than 2
hayabusa engines and a build by Z cars
Some people are worried about the difference between right and wrong. I'm worried about the difference between wrong and fun.

I want to know what tyre fitter put 175 tyres on a 7" rim. 185s shouldn't go on a 7" rim as they'd be too stretched.
I don't know if it's the pictures but it seems a bit rough

That is the cretinous "Euro look" which seems to be fashionable these days. Utterly stupid thing to do, and I'm surprised any tyre
fitter would want anything to do with it.

So is mine worth over £13k, it's got similar performance, twin engines & proper wheels & tyres!
I don't think mine classes as discreet either
I no longer run Furore Products or Furore Cars Ltd, but would still highly recommend them for Acewell dashes, projector headlights, dominator
headlights, indicators, mirrors etc, best prices in the UK! Take a look at http://www.furoreproducts.co.uk/ or find more parts on Ebay, user names
furoreltd & furoreproducts, discounts available for LCB users.
Don't forget Stainless Steel Braided brake hoses, made to your exact requirements in any of around 16 colours.

Tyres
Are motorsport tyres different? I run 185s on a 7" rim as recommended by Dunlop (link above)

my 185s fit just fine on 5.5j rims, 205 is apparently better for 7"

A lot depends on the tyre. We run 185/530x13 Dunlop CR311 om my mate's R1 engined rally Mini on 7J rims and they are absolutely fine. If you
look through the Mini mags you will see loads of wheel and tyre packages with 7" rims and 175/50x13 tyres. They are the widest tyres you can
get for the Mini keeping the rolling radius correct. A 195/45x13 would be ideal but that size doesn't exist. People want the 7" rims
because of the nice dish you get on them.
The car does look a bit rougher than it did. I had a spin in it at Curborough round the sprint course with Mr Allanson himself at the wheel. Was
rather rapid, but as Chris will tell you, some of his later single engined cars are as quick in a straight line and handle better.
