Merdedes Cosworth anybody?

Merdedes, fully loaded. Local bike shop selling this, looks good and will be cheap.

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

That is an absolute gangster machine... That leather looks very very inviting for the behind.

I love top end German machinery that used to cost crazy clams but which is now very affordable on the second hand market.

Cheers

Apparently the manual are the ones to get of them, the autos are meant to be a bit touchy.

Just look on autotrader

There are examples on there with 240,000 miles on the clock, this has a third of that. you'll be lucky to find a manual, 11 out of 78 on there. I saw the car yesterday and can only say it looks in pristine condition apart from the air con and a couple of niggles, stick a cheap private plate on and you could mistake it for a lot newer. If you don't trust it that's fair, I'll tell him you won't be bidding on it because you've heard a rumour about the gearbox, I know it'll ruin his day but what do you do?
the autos are meant to be a bit touchy-- I'm sure Mercedes didn't mean to make a gearbox that was easily upset but if you only say nice things about it you should get along fine
