That's a real bargain especially as it has got a manual box included in the deal!

I would love to get it myself if it was closer to me - would be great as a spare engine to play with.

He says in his listing he was told the mk1 fitted the mk2 but it didnt hence hes selling it on.

I think the bottom of the engine is different or summit.

The only difference between the Mk1 & MK2 is the inlet manifold runners are operated differently. His MK2 is also an ST24 which has a little more power.
I am tempted but SWMBO would kill me if I bought another 'garden ornament'

Mondeo V6.

There was one seized in the local garage when I went for MOT and they were changing the engine for one from a scrapyard, same model and same series and every electrical connector on the replacement was different. The mechanic was pulling his hair out.
