depends on the hp/kW of the compressor! The answer is unlikely though.

I had to repair one of these for my cousin a while back after he tried to power a toaster with it!
These generators are unbelievably cheap, but they are certainly very cheaply built. They have a mechanical governor so frequency stability is poor
and a very crude voltage regulation system so voltage jumps up and down a fair bit when you apply or remove a load. They also have two stroke
engines, so fuel economy not great.
However, if you want to power something that is reasonably intolerant to frequency and voltage variations, e.g. lighting or small power tools they are
fine.
B&Q were selling a 1KW 4 stroke generator that looked a lot better for £70-80 a while back.

i had to repair my bros 4 stroke geny from b and q as it would not start.
when stipped:
1 the valves looked like they missed out on the hardness that most depend on.
2 the bore had DENTS in it.
3 the piston was missing parts of the crown.
and all this was from a 1 time use for a motor cross event before it was stripped

You get what you pay for, but as a basic generator for occassional usage for small power tools they are OK - I have had one for a while and it works
alright. Have tended to use it for things like powering an electric cool box when camping, and charging the battery and running the fridge of a motor
home when at Le Mans. Have used it with tools of 900W without a problem.
Like many things made in China the same item is availbale with a variety of different branding applied.
