Free propshaft....

.... But needs to be collected from the central reservation of the A64 near Tadcaster!

It wasn't me, I just spotted it this morning! Do you think the owner noticed it was missing?

no they probably just called the recovery company and told them that they had no forward or reverse gears, then the recovery probably man said it was the clutch. not be until tomorrow that the garage man will tell them they have no prop

begs the question how did that ever happen to fall of, is it riped in half or anything

I have no idea. I just saw it poking out of the grass! I suspect a UJ has let go (OW!), so it the other end pushed into the box it'd just drop out.....

My mate some time ago had a tuned avenger. After some carb tweaks and big bore fitting he went out for the obligatory shake down and invited his dad along to see for himself what impact on performance the mods had made.

Just shy of a ton there was a large bang quickly followed by some serious dints appearing in the trans tunnel, even more quickly followed by a nugget in his pants.

The car actually lifted fully off the ground and pogoed over the hedge. This resulted in a written off avenger and a 6 inch deep gash in the tarmac!
