I heard about heat wraps being the cause for a fire!
I hope this specific one to be capable of handling high tempuratures...

If it proper heat wrap the way it can go on fire is when it gets oil or brake fluid spilt on it, it makes a very effective wick!

It caused a fire in a car with the silencer in the side pod. Wrapping the exhaust makes the heat manifest itself further down the system.
