Hello,
Thank you for your interest in my car. I will tell you from the start the situation.We've
taken very good care of the car (always garaged) and we're only selling it because we've
moved house to Madrid, Spain and it's pretty difficult to drive a RHD in this terrible
traffic. It's never had any accidents, no scratches, no dents, it's got the original
paintwork.Mileage is 10400. No pets, non-smokers, the engine has never been repaired or
something like that. The car comes with log book, HPI clear, it is free of encumbrances and
liens,V5 present under my name. You will get from me the keys and all documents to register
the car into your name, and also a bill of sale in your name and signed by me. It is an UK
model (RHD) with UK specs and it is registered there and you will have no problem with
registration.
The car is in London with TWC Company, a shipping company that will deliver the car to
your home address, also it will be shipped on my expence. The car and the paperwork was
already inspected by them for shipping purposes, is crated and prepared for delivery.
I work for Shell E&P International and i have begined a new contract with them, i have
been transfered for the next 2 years in Madrid, Spain. All happened so fast that i had to
leve the car with the shipping company in order to make a quick delivery in case i find a
buyer.
For payment and all guarantees that we need to make the transaction work we will use
eBay's Protection services also after a few researches i found that eBay Motors Buyer
Protection Program will be the best choice for us to handle the payment as i am in Spain.
Using their services it will be eBay who will handle the payment and also you will have a 5
days inspection period in order to check the car and the car's papers. After the inspection
period passes you will decide if you accept the car or in case you dislike it for any reason
it will be shipped back on my expense.

Well, if he's telling the truth there are some simple questions you can ask.
1) where did you by the car and who from? (then follow up)
2) i'd like to speak to you, he's obviously English so it should be no problem phoning Spain and speaking to him
3) then phone his company in spain and ask to be put through to him ......
4) phone the shipping company and ask them if they have the car
5) find the phone number for the shipping company and ask to speak to the person you've just been speaking too - oops, you forgot to ask ...
6) ask to view the car before you part with the money ........ lot of money, looks like a scam, not that difficult is it?
7) hpi check etc (make sure you see VIN numbers etc) to make sure it isn't stolen (the picture shown is according to the DVLA the same car)
8) buy it, its a bargin!
(i'm tempted....just don't have the inclination to go through all the hassle listed above).
