shortend sump anyone?

seen this on ebay, i know engines not much use, though its been reconned, must be worth 50 quid for the sump

Hmm My question would be why are they taking it out after so few miles, and such expense of the Recon.

As you say, worth it for the sump, especially if you cant weld!

the cars be scrapped after hitting a tree in Jan,
damaging the tub and front suspension,
Jim the owner bought it back and stripped it selling all the bits that were okay
only thing left is the bent tub, apart from the bits on ebay,
