iPod touch - Argos - starting 12-10-08 (oops)
Don't think this is entirely locost, but thought I'd post it anyway.

I've pre-ordered one myself, no idea if they'll allow you to change the price of the pre-ordered item, couldn't hurt though!
1st gen touch (not the latest one), 16GB, brand new - £148.97
Would make a great stocking filler for someone

Strange - not sure when it was £268. The current 16Gb version is only £219 on the Apple site. Specs appear to give 8Gb capacity (1750 songs vs
3500). So a £70 saving but still a good price.
I have heard from someone (in currys I think) that prices ending in 97p (rather than the usual 99p) are end of line or clearance deals?

This is the 1st gen touch, is now being replaced by the 2nd gen but the new one's RRP is cheaper hence the 1st gen costing more at full retail
price.
I tried to get one after work today. All of my local stores had these in stock yesterday when I checked but now have all run out.
Bugger!
